a. Note:   t 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 4, 1992, at his home. Born on Sept. 14, 1911, in Dublin Township, he was a son of William and Be rtha (Snyder) Price. On June 4, 1935, he was united in marriage to the fo rmer Jessie Colyer. Surviving are his wife, at their home; and two brothers, Carl Price of Lew istown and Clair Price of Columbia, S.C. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. He had attended St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Shade Gap and w as a member of the Madden-Wennick American Legion Post 518, Orbisoni a. He was also a veteran of World War II, having served with the United S tates Army. Mr. Price had been shot in the ankle by the notorious 'mountain man' Willi am Hollenbaugh. The incident occurred prior to the tragic "eight da ys at Shade Gap" when Hollenbaugh abducted Peggy Ann Bradnick on May 11, 1 966, as she stepped off a school bus near her home in Dublin Township. He had retired from Letterkenny Army Depot after 29 years' services. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at the Mart in R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with the Rev. Belvy White officiatin g. Interment will be made in the Pleasant Hills Cemetery, Shade Gap, R.D. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and on Saturd ay from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service
