Note: rman (Buss) Snyder, 81, of Shade Gap died at his home Thursday aftern oon, August 13, 1970. He had been in ill health for the past five years.Born April 25, 1889 in Shade Gap, he was a son of James K. and Margar et E. (Ferrenberg) Snyder. He was united in marriage to Elsie Blanche Kli ng on August 3, 1912. She preceded him in death on June 18, 1965.Surviving are the following children: Lawrence W. Snyder, Shade Gap; Jam es H. Snyder, Dauphin, R. D. 1; Mrs. Frank (Evelyn) Ott, Shade Gap; Chalm ers M. Snyder, Shade Gap; and Clark K. Snyder, Woodstock, Ill.There are 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Hild a, preceded him in death. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Ella Blanche Shug art of Mifflin.The deceased was a member of the United Methodist Church of Shade Ga p. He was a stonemason by trade.Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 16, at 4 p.m. from the Ott fu neral home, Orbisonia. The Rev. Barry Deutsch, pastor of his church, wi ll officiate and interment will be made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Frien ds may call at the funeral home from 7 o'clock this evening until 12 no on on Sunday, August 16.
