Note: Obituary - Elvira Maxine (McClain) Jones JONES, Elvira Maxine (McClain) - Of Clio, age 70, went to be with the Lord; her best friend and sister, Evelyn and her great-grandson, Carter on Thursday, November 1, 2007, at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Bill Maguffee officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Saturday, 1-5 PM Sunday and 10 AM Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Elvira was born in Flint, Michigan on November 13, 1936 and with her husband, Ken was a long time resident of Clio. Vi loved to read books, play on her computer and going to the casino, with her husband and daughter. She enjoyed spending time with her family, the little ones, Conner, Hayden, Nolan, Tyler and Trever, and most of all she loved her movie time with Ken in the evenings. Elvira is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jones; 3 daughters, Victoria (James) Rogers, Mary Jo and Linda Crum; granddaughters, Bobbi (Eric) Church and Amy (Gary) Gutteridge; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, "Bill" William McClain and "Mac" Ellsworth McClain; 2 sisters, Goldie Frantz and Norma Jean Nelson; brother-in-law, Maynard (Janet) Jones; many nieces, nephews and EDDIE.
