a. Note:   Grandpa Charile once told me that they had to pay 1/2 cord of wood to pay for the doctor coming out to their house to deliver Gram. Obituary - Bettie A. Doyle, age 73, of Clare, passed away on December 19, 2001 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Clare. Bettie was born the daughter of Charles and Mary (Green) Hildebrant on January 15, 1928 in Riverdale. Bettie had been a resident of Clare since moving from Farwell 19 years ago. She had worked for Evart Products and had retired in 1979. Bettie had attended the Clare Church of God. She enjoyed reading, watching TV and playing Bingo. Bettie is survived by two sons: Bryan (Linda) Hildebrant of Cadillac, and Robert (Kelly) Doyle of Flint; a brother Darrell (Kim) Hildebrant of California; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Bettie was predeceased by her sons Charles E. VanCleve and Charles S. Doyle; a daughter Judy K. Sutter; and a sister Wanda Rodabaugh. Funeral Services took place on December 22, 2001 at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with the Reverend Harold Owens officiating., Cremation has taken place with burial to be held in Surrey Twp Cemetery.
