Note: was called Gordo
1910 U.S. Federal Census shows Gordo as a hired hand working on a farm and living with his boss & family in 6-Dist, Bledsoe, TN. The boss' name was Floyd J. Gadd
1920 Gordo is living in Dist. 5, Campbell, TN. he is married to Annie ? (b. Abt. 1898 TN.) they have two children. Gordon is working as a laborer in a factory.
1930 Federal Census has a Gordon R. Arthur(b. abt. 1885 GA.) living in Dist. 2, Hamilton, TN. He is living with the William Howard family and is listed as a widower....I'm not sure if this is the same Gordon Arthur....
I did find a Sherman Arthur(b. abt. 1916 TN.) living with a Virgil And Annie James in Millstone, Letcher, KY. but no mention is made of Florence. So I don't know if this is the same Sherman and Annie....
