Note: took basic training @@ Camp Wheeler, near Macon, GA. involved in the invasion and liberation of the Phillipines after being in the Phillipines for several months he sent back to the United States and then to Germany as part of the occupying forces there....he served @@ the prison in Antwerp and also in Frankfurt....he was discharged on 10.18.1946
