Note: her and is living in Kimball, Dak. in his 96th year visiting his only remaining daughter, Mrs.Truman Pattee. Four brothers survived her death - Orwell and Ransom Bailey of Grundy County, IA, Samuel Bailey, Jr. of Harper, Kansas and GeorgeBailey of Reading, Vermont. Taken from obituary in S. O.Bailey scrap book. Obituary reads that she died in the residence of Ransom Bailey, Lincoln Township, Grundy County, IA.
Note: Her mother died when she was 23 and she assumed the responsibility of 9 children. In 1809 her sister Mary Bryant died, in Baileyville, Illinois, leaving an infant daughter whom Mrs. Shedd took and raised. Her father, Samuel Bailey, survived
