Note: Jackson Holcomb was present at death. Citty Funeral Home, Reidsville, NC, was in charge of burial. Marriage: Married Lois Marie Durham. BIOGRAPHY: Served in the U.S. Army - 1953 through 1961. PFC. Had one natural daughter, Sharon Leigh Hardy, and one adopted daughter, Lisa Marie Hardy. BIOGRAPHY: Lisa was killed in a car accident at age 14 when the Volkswagen Bug she was riding in, driven by cousin, Teresa Leigh Lillard (daughter of Nellie Wharton Hardy Lillard) ran off the road and overturned. Also in the car at the time of the accident was Teresa's brother, Erle Scott Lillard. This accident happened on the same day that a school bus accident occured involving the bus Tangela Jackson Holcomb was riding in which a young girl was hit by a car after getting off the bus. Tragic.
