Note: community of Harrison's Crossroads. He was a carpenter by trade and built his first house at age 14 years. As of 2002, still stands on Mount Carmel Church Road, Reidsville, NC. Otis served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was an MP. Self-Employed all of his life as a building contractor, carpenter, brickmason, and later after retirement, ran a sawmill at his residence - 9985 NC 87, Reidsville, NC (Wentworth Community).
