Text:   Per telephone interview of Tangela Jackson Holcomb and Gray Jackson, Gray states that Porter Jackson was buried in the White Plains Church Cemetary, Surry Co. N.C. - same cemetary that the famous Siamese Twins, Eng and Chang, were buried.

a. Note:   U.S. Navy, where he retired. He went to Chiropractor school and practiced chiropracting after retiring from the Navy. He never married and never had any children. Porter died in Texas while living with his sister, Laura. He is buried in White Plains, NC (Surry Co.). BIOGRAPHY: Per Gray Jackson a deed to land was found in his name (Forsyth Co.) in which is mother and father, Jacob and Margaret Jackson, lived. A copy is forthcoming. Marriage: Porter L. Jackson was never married and never had children. BURIAL: Porter L. Jackson was buried in the White Plains Church Cemetary, White Plains, Surry Co., NC. Same cemetary that famous Siamese Twins, Eng and Chang, are buried (per Gray Jackson, nephew)
