Note:   February 2, 1939: On the evening of January 30th, 1939 at the �close of another day� God saw fit to say, �It is finished�, to one of the noblest, truest, and sweetest servants and bade her �come unto him�� Thus so greatly our dear Granny GLENN slipped away from us� Adaline RISON was born September 9th, 1847, in Prattville. She was raised to womanhood here and was united in marriage to Simion G. GLENN of Prattville in April 17, 1865. Twelve children were born to this union, eight of whom survive; Five sons, Willie GLENN of Alief, Texas; Simson GLENN of Selma; John R. GLENN of Andalusia; Benjamin F. GLENN of Mt. Creek; Tom C. GLENN of Prattville; three daughters, Mrs. J.M. JOHNSON, Mt. Creek; Mrs. W.S. GATES, Mt. Creek; Mrs. W.S. JACKS of Prattville, at whose home she has spent the remainder of her life since her husband�s death, December 24th, 1912. Mrs. GLENN was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prattville from childhood� The remains were laid to rest at New Harmony Church at Mt. Creek. Surviving besides the children are 40 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Florence FITSGIBBONS, 80 years old of Columbus, Georgia�
