Notes
a. Note:   Never married. Story from Uncle Carmen to Nick was that she was supervisor at a movie poster plant. During a strike she had to cross the picket line. She was followed home by union goons and beaten up causing her to become psychologically ill. She was in and out of asylums for years until Louise brought her to live with her family.
Apparently, Aunt Carrie was a great piano player and cut a mean
rug on the dance floor before her illness. Occasionally she would drop
up to our house and play some ragtime on the piano. --Nick Tanis
At the end of her life she lived with Louise in Corona, Queens.
