a. Note:   Bike was honorably discharged from the 82nd Bombardment Squadron Medium as a Corporal on January 31, 1946 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was inducted on July 27, 1942 in Montgomery, N.Y. He served in Central Burma and India (China-India-Burma theater of operations on another document) from November 1, 1944 when he left the states, arriving there on December 4, 1944. He left to return to States on December 24, 1945 arriving on January 21, 1946. He was an airplane and engine mechanic assisting in performing prescibed inspections and maintenance of aircraft. Also in charge of trouble shooting in Fenny, India.
