Note: He died while on active duty with the US Air Force. He suffered and acute MI and died instantly. He was buried in the Black hills National Cemetery at Sturgis, South Dakota. He was on temporary duty in England at the time. His permanent base was at Little Rock, Arkansas. He was posthumously appointed status of Non Commissioned aargen by the commander, 314th organization Maintenance Squadron. When the autopsy report came back it was discovered that the main artery leading to the SA node in his heart was completely occluded with fibrous tissue. They reported that this is the leading cause of Sudden Death Syndrome in young men.
