a. Note:   Little is known about Millard F. Draughon. He was born about 1851, in St. Helena Parish, LA; the last child of Sheppard Draughon and Nancy Allen. He appears on the 1860 St. Helena Census as a 9 yr old boy, and on the 1870 E. Feliciana Parish Census, newly married to Elizabeth Higginbotham, living with her parents, no children. He isn't on any census or record after that. Elizabeth Draughon is on the 1880 E. Feliciana Parish Census living with her sister Louisa Higginbotham Cason, and next door to her brother David Pipes Higginbotham and wife Ellen. She lists her last name as Draughn, marital status is single, not divorced or widowed? The child Robert Luther is not with her.
