I don't know what did happen today isn't ever much happens well this is all I've got to tell nothing happened today never is as I said yesterday. My name is Vivian Lehman. My Father Mr. john W. Lehman. His lodge is the Macabees. I live with my father. I am 13 years old. My weight was 80 lbs. at last weighing sometime in fall. The address of my home is 48 E. H.[unter] St., Logan, Ohio. I have 2 sisters & 2 brothers. My mother's maiden name was Lucy May Wycuff. Her father is Jacob Wycuff. I Vivian Marie Lehman wrote this record on Dec. 1st 1921 at my Grandmothers home at 96 N. Orchard St. My ideal man is very tall, very dignified, very black hair and blue eyes. He has social position, some money. He is not a coward. JUNE BRIDES Miss Vivian Lehman and Miss Mildred Clark, who have been working at the shoe factory in Lancaster surprised their friends saturday by declaring themselves to be "right up to the minute in style" - June brides. They were married Saturday afternoon by Rev. Butler of the Methodist church of Lancaster. Miss Lehman, is now Mrs. Hubert Johnson, Miss Clark is Mrs. Harold Cook. Mrs. Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Lehman of East Front St., and Mr. Johnson is formerly from Nelsonville and the son of Russell Johnson of 209 Madison street. Mrs. Cook is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Clark of West Main street and Mr. Cook is also of Nelsonville. The happy couples will make their home at 513 N. Columbus street, Lancaster, for the present. - Contributed, ***************************************************** Logan, OH: August 21, 1922. Dear Little book - - I am now a married woman. When I first received you and wrote in you, it was in 1915. Now I am 7 years older, and married. I have the dearest man, little book, the best man on earth. he is working for me little book, working every day for me - and maby (sic.) someone else. I wonder?! - - Sometimes I think so. Do you know i want a girl so bad and Hubert wants a boy. I don't know which would be best, do you? But I think it will be a boy. O little book, I am so Happy. Happy. and I love my husband so much. Will close now, dear little book. Vivian Johnson I am living at 738 East [Front] St. Logan O. on July 15th, 1926. On Thanksgiving day Nov. 24, 1927, I Vivian Johnson live at 432 E. Main St., Logan, O. Thursday, November 24, 1927. I am now 23 years old. Have three Children. Charles is 4 years 4 months old. Has brown hair, brown eyes, is slim but strong. He has a sweet disposition, is slow moving, but learns fast. Anna Mae is 3 years 1 month old, has brown hair & eyes is lively, hard to control self willed, but sweet, is a beauty, and pretty. Robert 24 days old has brown hair & blue eyes, looks like his father. Is strong & big. January 3, 1930. Well here I am again. 25 years old, three children not so happy and not always unhappy. I'm stage struck now - at my age. I'm so crazy about it tho i know enuff not to try it. I don't think I'm a very good mother but my kids love me. I hope they always will no one else does, and I still need love love as much as ever. August 21, 1931. Praise the Lord, I've a better testimony now, 26 - and happy, tho so poor we never know where the next meal is coming from. But I am trying to be a good mother, and raise my children Christians. Jesus loves me and I know I am saved from sin and I have no desire except to serve my Savior. Becoming enraged he broke up the dishes and furniture. He threatened to kill Vivian [his wife] and ordered her to leave the house. She left with the children and did not return.
