Note: His name is from Anna's marriage record and Rose's death certificate. Anna Suplee also provided it to James Dunne. A "Tom Cooney" told James Dunne that his aunts said another son, Thomas, came to Tyrone, PA before John Henry. Based on having located his son John Henry Dolan and Anna Magan's marriage record in Kilcommock (Kilcomogue) Parish in County Longford, it's believed that Fergus was from this area. It's believed that he did not immigrate to the US with his family, and in Griffith's Primary Evaluation of Longford (1854), it provides two entries for Fergus Dolans in the county, both in Kilcommock parish. There were two living in Aghnacranagh and two living in Snugborough.
