Note: "My dad was 11 when Blanche died. He went to live with his sister Ivadell. She had 2 small girls and then died when my dad was about 15 or so. I can’t remember if it was childbirth or illness. My dad then stayed on the farm where they worked . The owner was Harry Nicholson and he moved my dad into his place and gave him room and board in exchange for chores so he could finish high school. Uncle Bill was about 15 when Blanche died so he moved to Sidney to live with sister Stell (another family name). He never finished school. He then left for Milford to work on the farm of the father of the local minister (Rev Bounds, I think dad said). UNCLe Waldo was 17 or so and had already moved out and was working for Uncle Sam on his farm." From Lee Coy Palmer regarding Leon Dever Coy
