Notes
a. Note:   Rev. James Ault, pastor of the Preston Methodist Church gave the invocation and Robert Webster, pastor of the Methodist Church in New Berlin officiated the funeral. The 1930 census shows Harold as "single" and his wife Grace is by then living with Raymond Sanders in Pennsvylania. Leah and Mildred are living with them. Mary appears to be a servant for the Burdick family in Binghampton. Around January 21 of 1920, an article appeared in the Norwich paper which said: "Wife Leaves Home Harold Boyden of Kirk solicited for aid of officials today in the search for his wife and three children who left home about a week ago. Mr. Boyden has made every effort to locate them but without success, and he has asked officials to use their efforts to learn the whereabouts of his missing family." His obituary lists everyone as though none of the above had occurred. Rev.
