Note: From the "The Leader" out of Corning, NY. Mary B. Luther HORNELL, NY | Mary B. Luther, age 88, formerly of Cameron Mills and Bath, NY, passed away Wednesday, August 07, 2002 at Hornell Gardens, Hornell, NY. Born in Plymouth, New York on February 8th 1914, Mary was the daughter of Harold and Grace Monroe Boyden. A graduate of Binghamton High School, she was self-employed as a practical nurse until her retirement. She was a member of the former Cameron Mills Chapter Order of Eastern Star and the former Spencer United Methodist Church of Hornell. She is survived by one son, Austin Ray Luther of Bakersfield, CA and one daughter and son-in-law, Garness and Edgar Russell of Woodhull, New York; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Leah Poole and Mildred Boyden. Friends may call Friday, August 9th from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc., Funeral Home, 1607 Main Street, Woodhull, New York where funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 p.m., immediately following visitation. The Rev. Brian Diffenbacher will officiate. Burial will be in South Plymouth Cemetery, Town of Plymouth, Chenango County at 2 p.m. Saturday, August. 10th.
