a. Note:   The 1840 census shows Michael Champlin living next door to a Stephen Franklin, aged 40-50. Robert Champlin visited this cemetery Oct 16, 1997 and found only 2 Champlin stones. Augustus ChampLIN and wife Carlista Franklin were on one stone. The other was for Susan M. ChampLAIN wife of William Harvey. He failed to find William or Sarah there and said this was a pretty small and well maintained cemetery. Nonetheless, I have included the information here.
