She had been very ill since Friday night and the family have been at her bedside since then. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at 4.45am and Ann wanted you to know as she was very fond of you and Bill and the family in America. As you know Frances was very close to your Mum and she always talked about her vacations with you all. We have made the arrangements for the funeral service today, a Mass will be held at 10.00am on Thursday 18th November at St. Maria Goretti R C Church near the nursing home. We will then proceed to Sandymount Cemetery were she will be buried next to her husband Alex. Ann has taken it very badly as she was very close to her Mum as you know especially in the last few weeks when she was visiting her Mum every night. Hope all is well with you, Regards, George
