Note: Her married name of Jones comes from the listing of a Mary Jones, Aunt of John H Tanner living with him and Grace. The ages are slightly off, and Mary Jones gives her birthplace and that of her parents as Ireland. Mary Tanner’s parents were both born in Ireland (and some records for her mother say England but that she was Irish) but Mary herself was born in PA. In light of this, they may not be the same person.
