a. Note:   Her death certificate reads Margaret P. Glen which was also the name used at Ellis Island. Her entry in the Holy Cross Cemetery records indicate that she was 88 years old when she died. From original records in Scotland, as well as the first hand knowledge of many relatives, she was actually just shy of her 97th birthday when she died. She is buried with Fannie Glacken (her daughter) and Carl Gonder the husband of her grand daugther, Catherine Brown. The gravesite was purchased by Catherine Gonder (in 1 record written as Gorder). Catherine is not buried there but instead is married with her second husband, James Conley. There is no headstone for Paterson/Gondor/Glackin but it is Section Z, Range/Row 5, Lot 45, Grave CR. The space is next to a stone for Matarese. At the time of her death, Margaret Paterson lived at 1625 S. Yewdall Street and the funeral was held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. This is up the street from where the Gonders. According to the January 1, 1861 census of Scotland, she is listed as 8 years old, indicating a birth year of 1852. "Carl Gonder. Sept. 30, Carl, husband of Catherine Gonder. Relatives and friends Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers, invited to funeral, Fri., 8:30 a.m., 1662 S. Yewdell st. Solemn mass of requiem Church of Most Blessed Sacrament 10 a.m. Int. Holy Cross Cem."
