Note:   Obit on April 20, on p.59, on reel 7848R Grew up on Glendale St., Halifax. Then married and moved to Shad Bay. Mary Teresa Collier, 48, died Monday in Camp Hill Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late George and Veronica Holland. She is survived by her husband, James William; four sons, Michael, Halifax; Mark, Blair and James Jr., all of Shad Bay; six daughters, Marilyn Collier, Laura (Mrs. Dennis Burke) and Shirley-Lynn, all of Shad Bay; Jennifer (Mrs. Fred Tanner), Prospect Bay; Juanita (Mrs. Maxwell Pottie) and Frances (Mrs. J. Edward Thomas), all of Halifax; six brothers, Bernard and Cecil, Shad Bay; Paul and Jerry, Halifax; Christopher, Lower Sackville, Gerard, Toronto; one sister, Elizabeth (Mrs. Joseph Blum), Shad Bay; and 8 grandchildren. The body is in Snow?s Funeral Home, Windsor Street. Funeral will be Thursday 10 a.m. in St. Joseph?s Church, Shad Bay, Rev. Duncan McMaster officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Shad Bay. Donations may be made to the Holy Cross Cemetery fund.
