Fahie, 82, Halifax, died Wednesday at Saint Vincent?s Guest Home. Born in East Ship Harbour, he was the son of the late Charles and Julia (Walsh) Fahie. He retired from the Swift Canadian Company in 1954, after 28 years of service. Surviving are two sons, Fraser and M. Raymond, Halifax; one daughter, Marie (Mrs. Fred Tanner Jr.), Halifax; two brothers, Fulton and Leo, both of East Ship Harbour, and ten grandchildren. The body is at Cruikshanks Funeral Home, Robie Street. Funeral service will take place Saturday at 9 o?clock in St. Patrick?s Church with interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery [November 11, 1971 pg. 40]
