Mr. James Francis Tanner, lived at 48 Seaforth Avenue until the date that he passed away. James Sr. was born in New Brunswick on July 24, 1896. His son James Jr. lived at 21 Gosford Blvd in Toronto for a number of years. James Tanner's Father's name was also James Tanner who was born in Ireland, his Mother's name and maiden name were not known at the time but she was born in Nova Scotia. James Tanner worked as a Commissionaire up until he passed at the age of 71. James was interred in Mount Peace Cemetery in Mississauga just outside of Toronto at the following location Range 26, Grave 70. James F. Tanner, Toronto, died yesterday. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James J. Tanner of Halifax. Surviving are his wife, Agnes, four sons, James, William and Jack, Toronto; Ronald, Ottawa; two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. F. Smith); Helen (Mrs. J. Cook), Toronto; two brothers, Ernest and Fred, Halifax; four sisters, Helena (Mrs. C. Lilgiros), Santa Monica, and Annie (Mrs. W. Naugler), Kathleen (Mrs. R. Barrett) and Christena (Mrs. W. Stevenson), Halifax.
