(Bogie) Tanner died Tuesday at Camp Hill Hospital following a brief illness. He was 63. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late James J. and Emily Tanner. Unmarried, he lived at 198 Maynard Street. Mr. Tanner served with the Royal Canadian Regiment overseas form 1914 - 1919. In the Second World War, he was with the Home Service. Surviving are five brothers, James of Toronto, John McL., Edward, Ernest and Frederick, all of Halifax, and four sisters, Helena (Mrs. Carl Liljeros) Los Angeles, Calif., Anne (Mrs. W.A. Naugler), Kathleen (Mrs. Ralph Barrett) all of Halifax, and Christine (Mrs. W.L. Stevenson) of Shannon Park, Dartmouth. Funeral services will be held today at 8 a.m. at St.Patrick's Church [reel 7488, 12/24/1959]
