Note:   NAUGLER, Bruce Verdon - 73, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 30, 2005, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born June 12, 1932 in Halifax, he was a son of the late William "Bill" and Agnes (Tanner) Naugler. Bruce worked for 33 years with the Halifax Dockyards as a Marine Pipe Fitter and was a regular donor with Canadian Blood Services, having offered over 100 donations. Bruce is survived by his son, Bruce (Yvonne), Lower Sackville; daughter, Beverly (Bernie) Izzard, Halifax; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane, Patsy, Mary, Molly; brothers, Bill, Carl; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (Stacey); second wife, Rita (Munroe); son, Michael; sisters, Jenny and Myrtle. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where Bruce's family will receive friends from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Bruce's memory to Canadian Cancer Society, 1-5826 South St., Halifax, NS B3H 1S6 would be appreciated. Special thanks is expressed to Carl, Ricky and Judy who took such good care of Dad.
