Note:   FAHIE, Francis (Fraser) ? 73, Halifax, died October 16, 1996, at the home of his daughter. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Maurice and Vera (Crooks) Fahie. He was a member of the Ken Wo Golf Club, New Minas, and CNCT Bowling League for over 40 years. Until his retirement, he had been employed with CNCP Telecommunications for over 48 years. Surviving are daughter, Deborah and husband Greg McAvoy; grandchildren Todd and Clinton; son Paul and wife Nancy; grandchildren Troy and Mark; son Terry and wife Darlene; grandchildren, Terry, Jason and Krista; son Gary and wife Ann; grandchildren Adam and Ryan; brother M. Raymond Fahie, Halifax. He was predeceased by his wife Edna (Oakley); sisters, Marie Tanner, Muriel in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter?s Roman Catholic Church, Ketch Harbour, Rev. Lloyd O?Neil officiating. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Halifax.
