Note: LeFrank, Elizabeth Carol "Betty" - 68, Dartmouth and East Ship Harbour, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital on October 11, 2005. Born in Tufts Cove on December 24, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Violanta (Monk) Fahie. Betty was a cherished mother to her daughters, Catherine Perry, Jacqueline (Bob) Cantin and Joan (Doug) Meek; sons, Bruce (Marilyn) LeFrank and John LeFrank; much loved grandmother to granddaughters, Kelsie, Hilary and Gwynn; grandsons, Justin, Matthew, Michael, Andrew, Jan, Patrick and Jacob; special great-grandmother to Mitchell and Kaitlin. Betty was the dear sister of Audrey (Donald) Power and Connie Fahie; brothers, Joseph (Johanna) Fahie, Clive Fahie and David (Theresa) Fahie; caring aunt of several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by brothers, Winston Fahie, Edward "Ted" Fahie, Eldon Fahie and Charles and Ernest in infancy; sisters, Mary Helston, Joan Fahie and Margaret in infancy. Betty was such a sweet soul who enjoyed cards and bingo and was much loved by everyone, she will be greatly missed. Remains have been entrusted to Rowlings Funeral Home, Musquodoboit Harbour for cremation. Visitation and prayers on Friday, October 14, 7-9 p.m. in Rowlings Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 15, at 10 a.m. in St. Denis Parish, East Ship Harbour, Father Joe Christianson officiating. Interment to follow in St. Denis Cemetery, East Ship Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society for Kidney Cancer Research.
