Note:   HELSTON (Fahie), Mary Madeline - 72. It is with great sadness the family announces Mary's passing on Friday, April 11, 2003, in Ontario. Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of Violanta Fahie (Monk) and the late Leo Fahie. She is survived by daughters, Marie (Dave) Crow, Lori (Bill) Janess; stepdaughter, June Luker; son, Greg Helston; grandchildren, Timmy (Jodi), Tommy, Justin, Derek, Jordan, and Andrew; great-granddaughter, Angelica; brother, Joseph (Johanna) Fahie, all of Ontario. She is survived by her Nova Scotia family, sisters, Constance Fahie, Elizabeth LeFrank, Audrey (Donald) Power; brothers, Clive (Willie) Fahie and David (Theresa) Fahie; sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Norma Fahie; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Helston; brothers, Winston, Ted, Eldon, Charles, and Ernest; sisters, Margaret and Joan; stepdaughter, Ruth. Memorial service Wednesday, April 16, at 10 a.m. in St. Denis Church, East Ship Harbour. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association.
