Dear mother of Jim (Eleanore), Ingersoll, Ont.; Faye (Ralph) Miller, Bedford; daughter/granddaughter, Sandra (Ed) McQuillan, Milford. Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary Mae (MacDonald) and George Gardner Spares; brothers, Earl, Samuel, Arthur, George; sisters, Alelia, Gladys, Selina, Annie; husband, Lewis; sons, George, William and John. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will be 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, December 9, funeral service 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 10, followed by a reception, all in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Private burial in Milford Cemetery. Donations to Milford Cemetery Fund.
