Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Frederick and Catherine Nash. He was a retired platoon chief of the Halifax Fire Department. He is survived by his brothers and sisters. He was a loving father to Christopher (Gina), Dante (Barb), Paul (Val), Beverly (Mike), and Carolyn; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita Frances. Cremation has taken place. No visitation. Funeral service Friday, November 5, at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, Halifax.
