Born May 27, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Dundee) Hartry. She is survived by daughter's Veronica "Dodo" and husband Lloyd Privett;, Geraldine "Sidder" an husband Paul Frenette; Evelyn "Evie" White, all of Dartmouth; sons, William "Pepe" and wife Diane, Dartmouth; Robert "Brother" and wife Bernadette, Porters Lake; Thomas "Tom" and wife Irene, Dartmouth; Howard "Howie" and wife Sharon, Ostrea Lake; Lloyd "Nan" and wife Charlotte, Tatamagouche; Gregory "Greg" and wife Lee-Ann, Porters Lake; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John "Smitty"; sons, John "Sonny", Harold "Nin"; daughter, Doris "Sissie" Graham. She was the last surviving members of her family, being predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be held today and Sunday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax, where funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, August 20. Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oceanview Manor or a charity of choice [reel 22074, pg. 35, 10/18/2001]
