a. Note:   Obituary published in the Winnipeg Free Press,Tuesday, February 24,1981�b� THEODORE C. GOODMAN �/b�Suddenly on February 4, 1981 at Swan River, Man., Ted Goodman passed away at the age of 72 years. Most of his life was spent In the Thunder Hill district until his retirement from farming. He married Gwen Gohl at Boissevain in August, 1940. He will be sadly missed by his wife; three sons, Alex and wife Gill, Murray and wife Joanne of Roblin, Brian of Toronto; one daughter, Sandra and husband Larry Horbachewsky of Kitsault, B.C.; six grandchildren; his mother Jeannette of Swan Valley Lodge; brothers, Charles of Benito, Bill of Thunder Bay; sisters, Dorothy Banks of Benito, Phyllis Martin of Benito and Jean Jacobs of Grand Forks, B.C.; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Henry in 1952 and by his youngest brother Allan in 1971. Funeral service was held Saturday, February 7 from St. Andrew's United Church, Swan River, with Rev. Murray Wenstob officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Those so desiring may make memorial donations to the Swan River or Benito United Church or to a favorite charity. Paull Funeral Home was in care of arrangements.
