a. Note:   WINNIPEG FREE PRESS, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 1945 A. J. LOWE Roland, Man.-Funeral service for Albert J. Lowe, 70, who died at Central Suite, Sask., Feb. 16, was held in Roland United church Winnipeg Feb. 20. Rev B. Davidson conducted ducted the service and burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Albert Lowe was born at Pakenham Ont. He came west with his parents as a child of four years. They settled near the present site of Roland. In 1904, he married Margaret Wilton on the Pomeroy district, and in 1905 they moved to Central Butte, Sask. taking up a homestead there. He was an active member of the United church in Central Butte and a member of the choir. His wife survives; also four brothers. W H and T. J., of Roland; M. W. and L. H.. of New Westminster B C and one sister, Mrs. D. W. Jones, of Winnipeg.
