L., pg. 560__________________________________ __________Lot 2, Blk 11, E side of Creek in Salem.____________________________ Sarah's mother is found in the Crawford County MO census as A R (1850) and Rosanna (1860). In both cens us the father's name does not appear. The 1850 Crawford Co MO census lists A R Mathis 40 F Widowed KY M Mathis 15 F KY G W Mathis 12 M KY S E Mathis 10 F MO; this is Sarah Evans N J Mathis 6 F MO; this is Sarah's sister who married William Stewart. Ann Pedcock 76 F Widowed VA, I am assuming this is Rosanna's Mother. Wm Pedcock 26 M Farmer TN Note: There are other Pedcock's on the 1850 MO census living near by Rosannah who were born in KY. Based on the dates and location of births. I am assuming Rosanna & family move to MO from KY around 18 38-1840. Husband and father William Mathews/Mathis died after 1844 and before 1 850 based on youngest child birthday and missing from 1850 census. Rosanna Pidc ock and William Harr Matthews show up in the Hopkins County KY marriage records as getting married in 1833. This is consistent with the oldest child (M Mathis ) being born in KY in 1835.
