Note: OBITUARY MRS. CAROLINE GESLING, 80, wife of Charles Gesling of 725 Winchester Ave., died at the local hospital yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Gesling was born at Buena Vista,Greenup County, KY, Dec 10., 1857. On Nov 25, 1880, she was untied in marriage to Mr. Charles Gesling, and to this union were born six children. When Mr. and Mrs. Gesling celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary they were the oldest living members of the St. Paul Lutheran church of this city. Mrs. Gesling was a devoted Christian. mother andwife. This afternoon at four o'clock the body will be taken to the residence from the John Steen Funeral Home. Surviving are sons, Fred and Carl of Ashland; and Will Gesling of Lancaster, Ohio; three daughters , Mrs. Ethel Gesling at home, Mrs Minnie Clevenger of Ashland and Mrs. Hannah Shelah of Middletown, Ohio and one sister, Mrs. R. B. Chalkley of Covington, KY. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoonat 2:30 from the residence. Rev. Walter Stock of the Lutheran Churchwill officiate and interment will be made in the Ashland cemetery.
