Born Sept 30, 1897, in Ashland he was a son of the late Charles and Caroline Diederich Gesling. Mr. Geisling served as city engineer of Ashland for six years in the late 1920's and was designer of Rose Hill Burial Park. He was an employee of the Kentucky-West Virginia Gas Co. for 25 years, retiring five years ago, and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Chruch. Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Minnie Mays Geisling, a son, Raymond Gesling of St. Petersburg, Fla; a daughter, Mrs. Charles L. Johnson of Ashland; a brother, Will Gesling ofLancaster, Ohio; three sisters Miss Ethel Geisling and Mrs Hannah Holschuh, of Middletown, O., and Miss Minnie Clevenger of Ashland. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday at the John Steen Funeral Home by the Rev. J.H.S. Faulconer and the Rev, Robert Meyer. Burial will be in Rose Hills Burial Park. Pallbearers will be John O. Price, William Roberts, John B. true, William G. Smith, Woodrow W. Thompson, and S. R. Gesling. Honorary pallbearers will be C.C. Price, H.D. Seay, Hugh Raybolt and W. A. Gesling. Friends may call at the funeralhome after 5 P.M. today.
