Itis from the Friday Feb.10, 1928 edition of the Ironton Tribune. " Mrs. Rachel Danford, 73, died Thursday afternoon at her home near Johnstown, this county. She is survived by her husband and three sisters, Mrs. Robert M annon of Scottown, Mrs. Nicholas Daly of Scottown, and Mrs. Z.F. Dillon of Wi lmington, Ohio. Mrs. Danford was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The funeral services will be held at Perkins Ridge Baptist church Sunday morni ng at 10 o'clock by Rev. Jenkins. Burial will be made in the Kingery cemeter y under direction of Undertaker Phillips." She also left the following will: The following instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testam ent of Rachel Danford late of Windsor Township in this county, deceased, was p roduced in open court and filed for Probate Feb. 13, l929. LAST WILL AND TES TAMENT. IN THE NAME OF THE BENEVOLENT FATHER OF ALL,AMEN: I, Rachel Danford o f the Township of Windsor County of Lawrence and State of Ohio, being of soun d and disposing mind and memory, do make, publish, and declare this my last w ill and testament, hereby revoking and making null and void all other last wi lls and testamen by me made heretorfore: First: My Will is that all my just d ebts and funeral expenses shall be paid out of my estate, as soon after my de cease as shall be found convenient. Second: I give, devise and bequeath to W illiam Danford $500.00 in money and cow and my interest in the automobile. A nd the balance of my money and my household goods to be divided equally betwe en Squire Dillon and John Dillon and Nettie Dillon and July Mannon and Vada D aily these being my brothers and sisters. Sandy Dorie and Rachel had three children that all died y oung. They are buried in Kingery Cem. William E. b.Nov. l8, l878 d.March l, l879; Bertha Jane b.Nov. 30, l879 d.March 14, l898; Nevada A.
