Mrs. Matz made her home at 1884 San Jose Ave. She is survived by her husband Ernest Matz; a daughter, Mrs. Hope Davis, Richmond, Va; two sons, Farran Helmick, Wyandotte, Michigan and Maj. Guinn Helmick, stationed at the Sherman Air Force Base in Oklahoma; a sister in Kentucky, three brothers in her native West Virginia and one in Ohio; 16 grandchildren. and two great grandchildren.
