Feb 2006 OPAL E. WALKER Published: 6/30/2005 OPAL E. WALKER, 88, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Monday, June 27, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, West Virginia, by Brother Gordon Simpson. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Wayne. She was born February 5, 1917, in Wayne County, West Virginia. She was the widow of Walter Walker. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Riley and husband, Zimmerman of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Margaret Keigley of Huntington; six sons, Billy Mays and wife Shirley, Ted Mays, Jack Mays and wife Brenda, all of Huntington, Larry Mays of Proctorville, Ohio, John Walker and wife Cathy, and Michael Walker, all of Wayne; three brothers, Keith Mays of Kenova, West Virginia, Glenn Mays of Lavalette, West Virginia, and Clifford Mays of South Point, Ohio; and a sister, Delores Harmon of Huntington; and 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from noon until service time Thursday at Morris Funeral Home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
