Swan, aged 69, well known resident of thi s city, died at 6:30 0'clock this morning at the late home, 1714 Park avenue , East End, following a fifteen months' illness of a complication of diseases . The deceased was born in Cincinnati, March 10, 1846. Six years latershe removed to Coolville, Ohio. She was married May 22, 1867, to William A. Swa n To this union, eight children were born, five of whom survive, W. A. Swan , C. H. Swan, L. L. Swan, Mrs. J. C. Clemenson and Mrs. A. D. Osborne, all of this city. She is also survived by her husband and the following brothers and sisters: Charles, J. E., James and Frank Welling. Mrs. Sarah Green of Oh io and Mrs. Maria Taylor of Michigan She was a devout member of the Boyce M. E . church. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
