She listed herself as being married to John Stackpole and listed all of John Spillane's info-Irsih, boiler maker, where he worker, and named the child John Aloyisous Stackpole-father was John Aloyisous Spillane. In 1878 Susan died giving birth to a second child. That child also died. At that point, John had little John's birth certificate changed to Spillane and showed he being born on the 28th of Nov 1869 so his wife, Susan Conlin Spillane would have been his mother.
