a. Note:   Eli Bigham, Isaac's youngest son wrote from memory most of what is recorded on this family. He wrote that his father had told him that he had been born in the vicinity of Leather Bottoms, which is in richland Twp, Guernsey CO, Ohio. He said that after Isaac's father died, he wasbound out to a man near Byesville and after he got older, he ran awayfrom this man's home and walked to his Grandfather Morris's home in Hocking County. In 1848, Isacc purchased land in Hocking County, Ohio on what in now Bigham Road.
