Dillon, an d see you listed as source #852 on DILLON KIN. I've written to Franklin Co., VA, who directed me to Vital Records in Richmond, VA. However, both sources claim not to have the information. Obviously, a specific date like 11May1 817 came from somewhere. I've also searched(unsuccessfully) thru records in Lawrence Co., OH, when I was there in Oct. To date, the only record of his b irth I have located is on his gravestone in the Kingery Cemetery. I want to apply to the Lawrence Co. Genealogical Society for'First Family of Lawrence C ounty' status thru my grandmother's line and need this little bit of info.
