a. Note:   Hi Teresa, I do not remember any thing about the Spillane family. I only know that Grandma Kettring was married to a Spillane at one time.I think , as I remember that they got a divorce maybe in the late 1920's. Who is the Albert, Alvin and Carrie you mentioned. I really can'tremember. Here are the records that I have. Moses Franklin Grubb bornin 1844 in Fairfield Co. Ohio and I have a copy of the marriage license to Mary Elizabeth Carter , daughter of Ryan Carter and Louise Hyler. Mary Elizabeth was born in 1845 and died in 1922 in Montezuma, Mercer Co. Ohio. She is buried in Ellis Cemetery at Montezuma, Ohio They had one daughter, Caroline Leota Grubb. Born Sept. 19, 1871and died June 221, 1974-- yes 103 years of age. My dad, Russell Stansbery, was born Aug. 15, 1887 in Montezuma, Ohio. His mother was not married and his grandmother Mary Grubb raised him. He took his mother's maiden name, Grubb. Caroline Leota later married Albert E. Kettring and had 3 boys by that marriage. Chauncey Boyd Kettring, Herschel Lorenzo Kettringand Ross Melvin Kettring. Boyd married Minnie and they had 1 child. Her name is Hazel Kettring and she married Bob Cole . She is my only cousin and now is a widow and lives in Celina, Ohio. If you want more info on our families I can send then to you by mail.
