"62. LV. Elizabeth Van Sickle, the fifth child of Elias and Hannah was born in Cayuga (now Tompkins) County, New York, on the 28th of May, 1816. In the autumn of 1817, she was taken by her parents to Southern Ohio and from thence, In December, 1828, to Central Ohio . She was married in Delaware County, Ohio, June 24, 1847, to Nehemiah M. Wh ite, by whom she had two children; Hannah Louisa, born March 20, 1848, who married (Aug 24, 1866) Carlon Auble; and Horace Van, born Oct 18, 1851, who m arried (Nov 19, 1871) Mary Belvil. They had an adopted daughter, Mary Eugene , who married (Oct 23, 1870) John Hufford. Her husband, Nehemiah M. White, w as born May 27, 1800 and died March 10, 1858. She now (1880) lives near Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio."
