a. Note:   February 19, 1995 by Nancy V. Podella Medical: Dad had his first major heart-attack in the mid-70's and several after that. He has had four open-heart bi-pass surgeries with 4 to 6 bi-passes each. Also an angio-plasti and nine angio-grams. Dad suffered two minor strokes in December 1994 and underwent surgery in his left ventrical artery. Dad was also paralyzed in his arms, hands, and legs for about a year, 1993 to 1994. He was in a wheel chair and could not feed, dress, or bathe himself. His strong will and determination helped him to walk and feed himself again.
